Medicare rebates
Eligible consultations attract a rebate.
Many consultations with a Nurse Practitioner attract a Medicare rebate where eligibility criteria are met. The rebate is processed on the day of your appointment.
Payment
Settled on the day of consultation.
Payment is required at the time of your appointment by EFTPOS or card. Where applicable, the Medicare rebate is typically refunded to your nominated account within 1–2 business days.
Referrals
A referral may be required.
A current referral from your GP or specialist may be required to access a Medicare rebate for some consultations. You are welcome to enquire without a referral and Alana will guide you through what is needed.
Cancellation
Please give as much notice as possible.
Appointment times are reserved especially for you. A cancellation fee may apply for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice. Full cancellation policy will be confirmed at booking.
